Hal Hoxie

President/CEO

Hal Hoxie serves as the Foundation’s third president. He comes to Butterfield from McPherson, Kansas, where he served as President at Central Christian College. Before stepping into the role of college president, Hal spent his career in the United State Air Force. Retiring as a Colonel, he most recently served as the division chief, in the office of Legislative Liaison, stationed at the Pentagon in Washington D.C. During his USAF career he served in many capacities including Squadron Commander, Homeland Security Division Chief and T-38 Instructor Pilot/Flight Examiner.

Colonel Hoxie is a 1979 graduate of Central Christian College and earned a B.S. in Business Administration and Economics from Eastern Oregon State College, an M.A. in Sports Administration from University of Northern Colorado, an M.S. in Political Science from Air Command and Staff College, and an M.S. in Strategic Studies from Marine Corps University.

An accomplished athlete, Hoxie holds national coaching certifications in baseball, basketball, soccer and sports training. He coached club and high school soccer for 15 years, basketball for 4 years and baseball for 2 years. His hobbies include golf, aviation and coffee. Hal and his wife, Kathy, have four adult sons, four daughter-in-laws and ten grandchildren.

Dierdre McCool

Dierdre joined the Butterfield Foundation in June 2018 after serving as the Executive Director of the Foundation’s legacy organization, Deaconess Pregnancy and Adoption, for 22 ½ years. In her role as Executive Vice President, her duties include directing, coordinating, and supporting all Foundation functions, programs, and services, including Human Resources.

She is actively involved in identifying the present and emerging needs of the community nationally and internationally, developing and implementing initiatives and programs to address gaps. She shares responsibility for the financial and operational management of the Foundation, for establishing strong relationships with the non-profit community and other key stakeholders, and for helping awareness efforts that promote the good works of the Foundation.

Dierdre has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in Marital and Family Therapy. She has served on several non-profit boards, governmental task forces, and has presented on a variety of topics both nationally and internationally.

Dierdre is married and lives in Yukon, OK. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, gardening and traveling.

Jennifer Richardson

Jennifer joined the Butterfield Foundation in March of 2016. In her role as Vice President of Programs, her duties include overseeing the domestic and international granting, along with the Foundation’s programs and internships.

Her nonprofit experience began over 18 years ago as the Executive Director of Southwest Symphony in Hobbs, NM. From there, Jennifer worked for four years as the Grant Officer at the J. F Maddox Foundation, a private foundation also located in Hobbs, NM. Prior to joining the team, Jennifer worked as the Director of Programs & Marketing for Putnam City Schools Foundation in Oklahoma City for four years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in marketing.

Jennifer and her husband have three adult children and live in Edmond, OK.

Lisa Drumeller

Lisa Drumeller joined the Butterfield Foundation team in January 2024. In her role as Controller, her duties include the management of financial actions, tracking cash flow, and oversight of all transactions to insure accurate accounting and financial reporting.

Lisa graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting). Lisa found her place as a stay-at-home mom for 22 years, then completed her degree and worked at an oil and gas company and as an auditor for a firm specializing in not-for-profit agencies.

Lisa is married to Dick and together they are co-pastor/co-founder of Crystalbrook Church and Hannah’s House Ministries, Inc. (Residential Discipleship Rehab) of Independence, KS. They have 6 children (two of which have exploded into new life in God’s Presence), 2 daughters-in-love, 6 grandsons, and a great granddaughter.

Claudette Haggard

Claudette Haggard joined the Butterfield Foundation team in March 2018. She has 18 years of administrative experience in the insurance industry, including 7 years of experience as an Operations and Compliance Manager. This is her first position with a non-profit.

Ms. Haggard has a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Brandi Thorman

Brandi graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2017 with a degree in Human Services and Substance Abuse Studies. She moved overseas to work with a Church planting ministry for four years, and then continued her non profit experience as a case manager and class facilitator for a non profit faith based recovery program in Oklahoma City.
Brandi and her family live in Edmond and love to spend their time outdoors being active in any way they can.
