Tim’s Bio

Tim is the Founder, Principal, and Owner of Funding Legacy LLC, which focuses on nonprofit development and helping organizations build actionable plans to enhance organizational capacity. Tim also began investing in real estate while in college.  He established his own real-estate investment company and continues this passive business today, maintaining long-term relationships with business partners and tenants spanning over 30 years. 

Tim spent over 28 years with The Free Methodist Foundation (FMF), where he served as Vice President of Estate and Gift Planning and later as Chief Legacy Officer. Concurrently, he was President and COO of GuideStream Charitable Gift Fund (GSCGF), working with organizations such as churches colleges, universities, human services, and healthcare institutions. He has also acted as a consultant and incubator for numerous start-ups, helping organizations of the Free Methodist Church fund their Mission, Vision, and Values.  This passion brought about Funding Legacy LLC. 

 Tim resides in Avon, Indiana, with his wife, Marisa, and their three daughters: Miriam, Hannah, and Sarah. An ordained minister in the Free Methodist Church, he worships at Light and Life Free Methodist Church. Since 2007, he has served as board member and treasurer of Men’s Ministry International. 

In his free time, Tim enjoys pickleball, teaching others to play, water sports, and outdoor activities, valuing the social connections they foster. 

A sought-after speaker, Tim presents on nonprofit development, financial stewardship, and philanthropy. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and the National Planned Giving Institute, he offers consulting and private appointments to assist organizations and families with wealth planning, philanthropy, and stewardship strategies.
