GRANT ELIGIBILITY

Butterfield Foundation only grants to organizations that meet ALL
of the following criteria:

• 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
• Christian organization
• Project that fits one or more of the Foundation’s Funding Focuses
• International Grantees – Must have a stateside 501(c)(3)

Butterfield Foundation does not fund:

• Individuals
• Ongoing program expenses
• Operating expenses (includes salaries)
• Endowments
• Sponsorships

Organizations that have previously received funding from the Foundation may submit a new Letter of Inquiry after 12 months has passed since the approval of the previous funding, expenditure of all awarded funds, and completed reporting.

Butterfield Foundation will consider funding multi-year projects on a case-by-case basis but, in general, this is not the Foundation’s primary form of funding.
