“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight” — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NASB).
If you have a heart to serve Christ with a passion for excellence in your career, we want to see you put your education to work, gain experience, and have an impact on God’s work in Oklahoma!
The purpose of this internship in the Butterfield Foundation office is for students to expand their knowledge of a Christian organization whose mission is to improve the lives of the medically vulnerable in Oklahoma. We accept a total of three interns per year. There is one internship available during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, each lasting the entire semester. Opportunities exist for students in public health, social work, non-profit leadership, business, wellness, or healthcare administration.
Applicants must be articulate, self-motivated, and detail oriented. During the application process, we will work with you to form a personalized description of desired outcomes and assist with your university requirements, written evaluations, or other substantiation as requested. However, you will be responsible for coordinating college credit, if that is a desired aspect of the internship. Housing is not included. While the internship is unpaid, it provides valuable experiences unique to any other internship offered in Oklahoma.
