Our Mission

Our Core Values

We manifest the redeeming love of Christ by focusing on the physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being of people, consistent with the tenets of the Free Methodist Church USA.
Butterfield Memorial Foundation has identified six Core Values which describe our organizational ethos.

Christ Centered Redeeming Love:

We seek to surround everyone we serve with loving-kindness, compassion, and forgiveness, emphasizing to all that there is no story that cannot be rewritten nor sin that cannot be forgiven through Christ’s love.
Galatians 4:4-5, 1 John 3:16

We base our ministry on Jesus’ example of compassion.  Therefore, we will purposefully and sacrificially extend grace to each person with whom we come in contact.
Colossians 3:12-13

We are committed to consistently embracing moral and ethical virtues, living honorably in a way that reflects the teachings of Christ.
Titus 2:7,  2 Corinthians 8:21

We are committed to serve with excellence, striving for the highest standards, with all we have and in all we do.
Philippians 4:8

Our desire is to glorify Jesus Christ through the sacrificial surrender of ourselves and our resources in a manner that encourages health, restores hope, and transforms the lives of others while expecting nothing in return.
Philippians 2:4-7a, 2 Corinthians 4:5

We strive for a culture where authentic, sincere engagement is the norm.  We consider individual value, truth, confidentiality, and genuine healthy collaboration to be vital in order to create an environment of confidence and synergy, where trust can flourish.
Psalm 86:11, Ephesians 4:15
