What We Fund...
The Butterfield Memorial Foundation will grant funds to Christian 501(c)(3) organizations for medical and health-related projects. Funded projects must give evidence of an active Christian presence.
The Foundation will provide funds for capital projects, program start-ups and operating costs. While not a primary interest, endowment requests may be submitted. New programs must provide evidence of sustainability in subsequent years beyond Butterfield grants. Nonprofits which seek operating funds and are located outside the primary granting area must document why the project’s community cannot support the need.
Our primary granting area is central Oklahoma. While applications for mission-related programs outside of central Oklahoma will be considered, only a small percentage of available funds have been set aside for this purpose.
Organizations may apply for only one project in a given grant cycle. If an organization receives funding, it should not submit another application for at least one year.
Butterfield Memorial Foundation works with Christian organizations that hold and express in their programs orthodox Christian beliefs in harmony with the tenets of the Free Methodist Church of North America.
